EXTREME MOBILITY BEGINNINGS

jerry“After retiring to the beach in 2004, Jerry Nasello started having muscular fatigue. In 2005, he was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). As his health declined, his ability to get to the beach became quite difficult.

Jerry built a fisherman’s cart using PVC and Wheeleez tires. He used this as a starting place for getting himself to the beach. The design has evolved over time and through trial and error the frame was changed to aluminum, battery power was increased, and the components have been tailored for comfort and ease of use.

He has enjoyed this journey and wants to share with other disabled people the ability and independence to enjoy life off the beaten path.”
